1942 or 1947 Voss Brothers Peoria King bicycle manufactured by Schwinn. I figured it out years ago but cannot remember exactly.
I believe this bike to be all original with the exception of the saddle and front brake cable.
Has the rare New Departure 2-Speed hub and shifter which were both recently rebuilt and work as they should.
Bike was completely overhauled two years ago and has been ridden sparingly since.
Goodyear 26 X 1 3/8 X 1 1/4 War Tires are in good shape for their age but should be replaced if the bike will be ridden frequently.
Everything works on this bike and it is ready to ride (albeit better off with new tires) for years to come.
Bike shows scratches and paint chips as one might expect from a 75-80-ish year old bike.
