1950s Gem Aftermarket Auto/ Bicycle

rare vintage 1950s auto/bicycle/whizzer motorbike aftermarket fender/hood ornament made by GEM manufacturing co. great for you vintage car/bicycle or whizzer motorbike.
i was told this was originally mounted on a whizzer bike when i bought it from the whizzer guy a few years back at a bicycle swap meet. but it is not an official whizzer manufactured piece. it is an aftermarket accessory that was made by GEM manufacturing for use on cars or bicycles. people often put them on whizzers as well.
i was told this lightning bolt design is hard to come by since the bolt often broke due to lts length. they do not seem to come for sale often.
red plastic bolt seems to be in excellent shape. no damage or cracks. chrome has some patina from age. please see all pictures for details of condition.
