1960s Schwinn Slimline Ladies Bicycle

1960s SCHWINN SLIMLINE LADIES BICYCLE HORN TANK AMERICAN STARLET FIESTA VINTAGE Click Photos to Enlarge   Description Here is an original slimline horn TANK which was removed from a 1960s Schwinn AMERICAN beach cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. This fits middleweight Schwinn ladies bicycles with 26" wheels. This one is NOT rusted through like many that you see!  Many times you see a bike like this, and the tank was thrown away decades ago! A cool bike missing its tank can really take away from a cool bike. This can make a good bike a GREAT bike! This one is the deluxe chrome version with white paint and original Schwinn lettering! The horn is inside. Pushbutton is partially there but inside so I was not able to test it.
Tanks are VERY often missing from vintage bicycles! If you EVER think you could use this, do NOT miss out!  Adding a tank can make a good bike into a GREAT bike!
Great for display or install it on your favorite bike! If you know these bikes, you KNOW how hard these are to find! If you ever think you could use this, do not miss out!
Great for your Schwinn Panther, Jaguar, American, Fleet, Typhoon,  etc etc etc. (you must have the factory tabs on your frame for this to stay in place or you can always fabricate something) Again, please compare before you bid to be sure this will work for you! (Some of the others sometimes took a tank with chrome instead of the white paint)
Sold as is because it is used. It is awesome being original paint! Comes exactly as shown. Has chips scratches and the chrome shows age. Will look nicer with time spent detailing. NOTE, has some minor "fork knock" dents on the side. Nothing serious but I like to be honest. Be sure to check out all pics and email with any questions regarding condition before you bid.
