1962 26” Schwinn Typhoon double straightbar, Unrestored Nice

1962 26” Schwinn Typhoon Straightbar Unrestored! All paint and decals are how I purchased the bike many years back. I have not regreased the headset or crank bearings. Current wheelset is an aluminum set with 7 speed Nexus with coaster brake. The shifter itself needs a new cover piece but functions fine. wheels are very clean and true, the tires have very light crackling in the white walls which is typical of older whitewalls. These wheels and tires came off a 1990's Schwinn. Tires actually have Schwinn Typhoon stamped on them. I also do have the original fenders. I added the vintage leather Sprint seat as well. Everything rolls and moves fine. I do ride this bike. I did extend the chain a few links to accommodate the 7 speed. I did flip the handlebars over for my comfort and looks.
