1966 Schwinn Typhoon Complete Klunker Custom Bicycle

This listing is for the custom Schwinn Typhoon Klunker bicycle as shown. The frame dates from 1966 and has been heavily modified. Brake bridge and kickstand bridge were added as well as cantilever brake studs, cable guides and stops. Brass reinforcements were added to cantilever tubes .The dropouts were reshaped and widened to 135mm to accept modern drivetrain . ”. It has been professionally powder coated and has super durable finish . Components are mostly Shimano Deore , spokes are stainless steel and brake pads are Kool Stop. Set up to ride trails of cruise the boardwalk, it is super smooth and capable of anything with the CST Jack Rabbit tires . New chain cassette , tires , cables , brake pads and pedals assure a long time before any parts wear out. This bike is the eighth (hence #008 tag) bike that I built in a series of what became 15 bikes in total. There’s a ton of practiced hand work involved as well as details from decades of building klunkers. This bike has been test ridden and trail/boardwalk approved 100% Prime.
