Here is a rare original March 1969 SCHWINN Stingray "Fair Lady" 20" BICYCLE! (CE Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing CAMPUS GREEN factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn pedals, Schwinn sprocket, chrome fenders, (chrome shows age) cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn Stingray seat with rear tag and reflector tab, (needs resto) and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The original chainguard is in place! (has a fresh decal) The bike has chrome slightly newer non Schwinn wheels front and rear with a Bendix 70 single speed rear hub. Both tires are slightly newer and hold air. *This bike is an original single speed with coaster style brakes. (pedal backwards slightly to stop)
*A fun bike to ride or display. A great way to revive some fun memories or even create new ones with a young person! I hope you love this one!

If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it! This one has been in LONG term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again! I LOVE the original paint! (has some chips scratches etc but has survived better than many) Im happy this bike was never repainted! The paint shows obvious age. (has a good looking unrestored patina that many people love these days) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Neck/stem seems to be stuck in place and will need some kroil and some patience if you decide to remove it. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
