Here is a rare original 1970s Wards "STRATOSTREAK 20" banana seat muscle bike! (I believe early 1970s. Serial Number is 31203) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing PURPLE factory painted color. Check out the awesome frame design! (I like how the tubes taper to size!) The top rear frame chrome trim plate is still in place. The bike has unique forks, cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching hand grips, 3-piece cranks, cool rear sissy bar and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The original chrome chainguard is in place. The bike is an original 3-speed with hand controlled brakes. It has a "twist grip" shifter. The gears do shift. The "bucket" style banana seat is awesome. (has rips) I have never seen anything quite like it!  Has chrome wheels front and rear. The tires both hold air.
*Last fall, I sold a George Barris designed Iverson "Drag Stripper" girls bike that looked similar to this one. It is the only thing I have seen like this in a long time. George Barris designed a lot of car theme muscle bikes for Iverson in the late 1960s early 1970s. He made some cool bikes like the Drag Stripper, Road Runner, Charger, Duster, GTO, etc! He designed the real Batmobile!  When I first got into the hobby, I got a boys version of this in a cool bright yellow. It was in terrible condition and missing a lot of parts. This is the ONLY one I have seen since then!
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE!  Make someone in your life happy with this one. If you collect unusual bikes, (Murray Eliminator Mark 2, Huffy Rail, Wheel, Otasco Drag Oon, etc, you may enjoy this one!) This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore!  They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The paint looks ok for a 45+ year old bike! (LOVE original paint but has fading chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) NOTE the pedals do come out but the area where the wrench grabs the RH pedal is kinda messed up. I kept these with the bike but you may consider replacing them if you plan on riding this one. I did not thread the right hand one on too far.  NOT trying to nit pick every little thing, just like to be honest. WITH SOME LOVE, you will have one of the coolest MOST UNIQUE muscle bikes around! You will see many Schwinn krate and stingray bikes before you ever see another one of these! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.
