1970’s Vintage ARAYA Clincher Road Wheel Set w/ Schwinn-Approved

1970’s Vintage ARAYA Clincher Road Wheel Set with Schwinn-Approved Hi-Fanged Hubs Up for sale is a nice 1977 vintage ARAYA road clincher wheels. Rolled into our shop on an old Schwinn Le Tour . ARAYA 27” x 1¼” single wall clincher rims, (applying the Sheldon Brown rule that the tire width should be between 1.45 and 2.0 times the internal rim width – these wheels would be suitable for tires from 25mm x 34mm in width ). Schwinn-Approved Shimano hi-flanged alloy hubs have been cleaned and greased with the front cones replaced – ready for years of service. Wheels have been professionally trued with nice clean braking surfaces . A few marks and signs of normal, use but overall in good condition, please see pictures.
