🔥1988 Schwinn 1.86kg Pro ATB Mt Bike Cruiser Hybrid 5sp Nexus Gary

If you know anything about this bike then you know how special and rare it is. From what I read Gary Klein from Klein Bike Co started designing this bike in 1983 and Schwinn manufactured this ATB for one year only.. The 1.86 came from factory with painted aluminum but the paint was coming off in many places so it was decided to polish it out. 1.86kg is the weight of the frame, hence the model name. The paint on steel fork was fine and left alone. The modifications were tastefully done. It’s shifts smooth, has a coaster rear hub brake as well as the front hand brake.
It’s an incredibly fun and comfortable bike to ride and I am already regretting the day it goes to a new owner. I’m 6’3” and it fits me well.
I’ve used this as a neighborhood cruiser or around the lake on occasion but did go comfortably on one distance ride of 28 miles.
Bike will be professionally packed and shipped UPS with insurance and signature required upon delivery
Note: I cleaned the tires and put a conditioner on them since the photos were taken. They look much better now Note extended handling time. Exact handling time depends on how quickly local bike shop can get it packed up. The shop I use said they are not getting bikes in hence they are not packing bikes now. Handling time is set for 15 days to ensure time to locate and acquire appropriate shipping carton
