1989 Schwinn High Sierra vintage MTB filet brazed bullmoose Araya

Gorgeous vintage Schwinn High Sierra. L/XL frame (ideal for riders 5’10 and up). This is a very clean and well taken care of example of this high end classic. Smoked chrome is nicely intact and shiny has only minimal/expected scratches from light riding and storage. Personally I’ve always stored it in on a hook or against wall away from other objects.
To my knowledge it is all original with the exception of the coveted “Bullmoose” bars/stem, which is from an earlier model of the same bike and really set its off for a cool, quintessential 80’s aesthetic (and personally I enjoy the way they ride as well). Beautiful filet brazed frame. I’ve enjoyed gentle country/riverside adventures on this bike and brief city cruises over the years. I’m to understand I am the 2nd owner, and it has always been stored indoors. I’m 6’ and it fits me quite well. Could easily accommodate someone taller. Possibly could use a basic gearing tune-up it’s been a while and it has not seen a lot of use lately. Bike rides like a dream down the trail or road and is garage candy for the vintage enthusiast.
