Complete mechanicalrebuild. All finishes and graphics (missing TT decal) are original. 600Tri-Color gruppo with Sampson Ti spindle BB, titanium seat post and skewers.3ttt cockpit.
The frame isaluminum with bonded carbon fiber main tubes and the fork is aluminum bonded toa chromoly steerer. Garage-wear on the frame, fork and components. Theintegrity of the carbon is good (seat post is free, no FD clamp or bottle bossdamage). No crash damage anywhere.
Day-Glo (fluorescent) yellow aluminum lugs and fork have some scrapesand scratches (see photo). No signs of fading on fluorescent finishes.Beautifully built USA-made frameset.
Headset has beenrepacked with Phil Wood grease. Sampson bottom bracket has sealed cartridgebearings that feel fine. Hubs are excellent and have not been repacked.Derailleurs have been disassembled, cleaned and lubed. Original Shimano HGchain checked for wear, cleaned, lubed and reinstalled with a new link pin.Original brake pads have been retained.
Complete Shimano 600tri-color gruppo is original to the bike. Later model Selle Italia FliteTitanium saddle added.
Nice hardanodized Matrix rims show minimal brake track wear. Wheels are true with slightrunout on front rim.
Bike has newContinental tires and tubes. New Jagwire stainless cables and compressionlesshousings. New bar tape installed.
