This is a water resistant bag that holds a bicycle box for checking in as luggage on a flight. 47 by 30 by 9 inches approx. You pack your bicycle into a bike box (get a used box from any bicycle store--check the box size to be sure it fits) and put the entire box inside this bag. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry through the airport. The bag protects the box and the contents inside (your precious bicycle). Basically, a free cardboard bicycle box plus this bag is the equivalent of a fancy, expensive bicycle hard case. I paid $85 for this bag. I used it once only. It works well; I'm no longer traveling with my bike.
