BSA folding Bicycle Cable Set - Reproduction -WW2 Parabike.
For sale are near identical reproductions of the BSA folding bicycle cables, as used by the airborne, commandos etc. All parts are sourced or made, and then assembled, all by me. These aren’t just for display, as they do work like any other cable. Over 40 sets of these have sold in the past few months.
See pictures, they show my reproductions compared to an original set. Every original cable set I have are different lengths, and various diameters of cable. I decided to choose the length which sits the best on the bike. See pictures of them fitted on various folding bicycles.
I have to add- I copy these to wartime spec. This includes them not being perfect. Some cables may have inner cable sticking out of the solder, some ferrules may be crimped, some inner cable may have some solder on etc. This is how originals were. I make sure they work perfectly, but visually may not be perfect (you can’t see any of this when on the bike anyway).
You will receive 1x front, and 1x rear cable, which forms a set.
