Calfee Tetra-Pro Carbon Road Bike - 650c Wheels - Made in USA green - VG-EX
Calfee Design has been building quality carbon frames for over 35 years and the Tetra is one of the brand's longest-running models. We have a very nice used Tetra-Pro road bike with carbon fork for sale - made in California. The craftsmanship is top-notch and the webbed lugs are easily one of the most identifiable signatures of a Calfee. The original owner has kept the bike in top shape and it is a sharp looker. For the right-sized rider, this bike will provide a lot of lightweight performance.
With a 50cm effective top tube and a 43cm seat tube (c-c), with the 650c wheels this bike should fit most riders in the 4'10” to 5’3” range. The standover is 28”.
It features a full carbon frame with Calfee's distinctive webbed lugs, Calfee carbon fork with carbon steerer, Shimano Ultegra 3x10 drivetrain and Mavic Open Pro rims with Shimano Dura-Ace hubs. The bike also has Arundel bottle cages, a carbon stem, Thomson Elite seatpost, Fiziki Vitesse Tri Wing Flex saddle, Salsa Short & Shallow drop bar and a Chris King headset. The wheels are 650c and the tires should be replaced soon. (used, overall this bike is in Very Good to Excellent condition and has been very well-kept. There are some very small paint chips, each one is about 3 to 4 mm (very small) along the top tube. There is one slightly larger chip along the right side of the downtube (please see photos for close-up detail. These are all cosmetic and do not compromise the carbon durability. The tires show some wear and should probably be changed soon. The bike is in Very Good mechanical condition, upon proper re-assembly by a qualified mechanic, the bike should be ready to ride.
