Carnac TRS 5 Carbon Triathlon Cycling Shoe with adapter plates

These are from a collection of vintage bicycles and parts. If you know you know - these are an extremely comfortable, well made, triathlon shoe. These shoes are new/unworn -  and come with the difficult to find adapter plate for cleats.  They were made by the legendary manufacturer, Carnac. C arnac is a famous shoe manufacturer founded in 1949. They began making non-cycling shoes in 1949, but soon transitioned to specializing in high-end, hand-made cycling shoes. The small firm, headquartered in the small town of Gesté, near the west coast of France, eventually became one of the premier makers of professional-quality cycling shoes. Riders such as Greg LeMond, George Hincapie, Didier Rous and Christophe Moreau raced and won wearing Carnacs. Carnac shoes have a roomy toe box.
