I picked this up over a year ago as a NOS frameset from 2016 or '17, with an un-painted enve carbon fork and soon after built it up with brand new Force etap axs 12 sp group, very nice all-rounder set up with a 170 33-46 crank, 10-33 rear cass, but over time just couldn't reconcile riding it without the segmented steel fork that the old-school ones came with. So, I reached out to Chris Chance and had a modern version built with 1.125 steerer to accommodate the modern larger headtube. Since the fork and stem were painted after the original delivery of the frame, the paint is not quite a perfect match for the original but since it's a fade it kind of works overall. Picture shows clearance for a continental GP5000 28mm front tire and you could likely get a 30mm in there depending on the tire maker These were built with the last of the True Temper OX platinum stock that is no longer in production. It's a very snappy and comfy riding frame with modern proportioned-tubes that vastly out-performs the original slims from the 80's/90's imho. I had an original one years ago and it was way too noodly for my taste. Fat Chance is still producing a modern version of this frame but they are all disc-specific now, so this is a great opportunity to get one with rim brakes but also the most modern groupset in sram etap 12 speed. Don't get me wrong, discs are fine but somewhat un-necessary for regular road riding on pavement or mild gravel with this bike. Size is stock small, which equates to about a 54.5 TT. The geometry is available out there and I'll try to post a link shortly. I've put probably about 500-700 miles on it as you see it. No significant issues even cosmetically other than perhaps a couple of small nicks. It will clean up to look almost new with glossy paint. Deda carbon seatpost, painted to match zero100 stem (110 length), and fizik carbon bars round out the build. The Sram stuff works great, and I actually prefer the ergonomics of it over the comparable shimano and campy shifters. Too many bikes, too little time at this point to justify keeping it. Everything was new when I built this up, including the Co. cyclist-built wheels with blue anodized white industries T11 hubs laced to DT swiss RR411 rims. The whole package just works so well together, with great color coordination to match, harkening back to the fat city bikes of old. Life is too short to always ride matte black or gray carbon bikes from big box brands. Probably well over 4500 invested in this package. Also listed on facebook marketplace
