The DoubleCross is a two-faced tire. It rolls fast enough to drive the front on the road sectors but has incredible traction when you need it. Since most gravel rides (and races) are a mix of multiple surfaces, IRC set out to create a “core” gravel tire.
The 42mm Doublecross has the volume and bite to handle any chunky terrain while rolling extremely fast on hardpack and tarmac
The center tread has been slightly opened up to provide more grip and bite than its 38mm little brother
