Kettler made in Germany aero Road Bike Frame 58cm for 600 AX or Dura ace

Very nice condition Kettler Aero Road bike frame from the time of the early 80s aero craze. Made in germany, this is a stiff, solid frame with a solid fork, not one of those 80s noodles. Measures 58cm center to top with a 57cm top tube. Has Shimano 600 Ax shifters on it, if you do not want those I will refund 20.00 for the shifters, but as this frame requires shimano aero mount shifters, I decided to leave the shifters on the frame. One note, this frame does not work with AX front derailleurs. The AX front derailleur required a specail braze on and as this is aluminum, a braze on was not an option so this frame works with a standard braze on front derailleur. Frame and work weighs 6lbs 7 ounces on my scale. Not a bad weight considering the steel aero frames of the early 80s are usually a bit over 7 lbs as the aero tubing was a lot heavier than the normal round. This is a great handling frame and a great base for your quirky 80s aero bike. I have kept it for years to build with a dura ace AX group I have had, but I have just have not gotten around to it so off to the auction block it goes to pay for the neccessties of life.
