Lindy Flyer Shelby Bicycle

Here we have a Lindy Bicycle Fender Ornament that would have been used from 1928 through 1938 on all Shelby built "Lindy Flyer" Bicycle Models. This is made of cast aluminum and it has a wing span of 3 1/2 inches. The propeller turns in the slightest breeze. The Lindy bike was made up in recognition of the 1st solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean by Charles Lindbergh in May of 1927. Charles Lindbergh was the most decorated aviator in history.
