NOS Vintage Huret Sachs New Success Rear Dérailleur for 1980s Road & Tour Bikes
NOS ( NEW OLD STOCK ) Vintage Huret Sachs New Success Rear Dérailleur in Perfect Condition. This is a Good Looking Derailleur and it's part # is 47 1185 401. I think this was introduced in 1985 and New Success Derailleur was not entirely new.
It was merely a styling upgrade from the Huret Super Success Derailleur. The New Success is a Quality Good Working Derailleur, although it kind missed boat when it was released. Huret made Quality Shifters and Dérailleurs from the Beginning through the 1970s into the 1980s. This looks like this is a offering when Sachs bought Huret and later Sram buys Sachs, so they are all related. Use to Restore an old bike or use it on a custom new one. Vintage Chicago Schwinn bikes used Huret on early Touring and Racing models. This Derailleur is for 5, 6 , 7 , 8 Speed doubled 10, 12, 14, 16 speed and tripled 15, 18, 21, 24 Speed Vintage Road & Touring Bikes.
