Pair 1950’s Vintage Painted S-7 SCHWINN HORNET Tornado Bicycle Bike 26” WHEELS DESCRIPTION : Pair of original vintage painted white with black pinstriped Schwinn Tubular S-7 26” wheels removed from a boy’s 1958 Schwinn Hornet tank bike (see last photo). The rear wheel is fitted with a “Schwinn Approved” hub and kickback coaster brake that is marked “GERMANY.” CONDITION : Unrestored original condition with wear and light surface rust in some areas. No missing spokes. No “touch-ups” or restorations. Both wheels seem to be pretty true when spun. The front tire appears to be the original, and both hold air, at least temporarily.
