Rivendell Clem Smith JR H 52 CM 2020

I'm selling my Rivendell Clem Smith Jr H 52 cm. It has been well cared for and maintained by me and my local bike shop. There are scratches and scuffs here and there. I tried to capture them all on the pictures. There is a spot of corrosion on the kick stand plate where I had bolted on a Velo Orange kickstand, which is not pictured, but could be included if you would like it. I found it to add unnecessary weight, but it was useful when loading up panniers at Trader Joe's. I'm parting with this beautiful steed because it is just a bit too big for me. I'm sizing down to a 50cm. I'm 5'6" for reference with a short torso I guess. I suggest consulting Rivendell's PBH tutorial which can be found on their website for sizing information. I would say it would be great for 5'7" to 5"9" -- it has a long wheelbase compared to other comparable bikes, not that there are a lot of comparable bikes out there. Compared to a Surly Long Haul Trucker I think it's longer. You can compare on Bike Insights if you want to compare it to a bike model and size you have ridden.
I've ridden it to work in Chicago with potholes, etc. and thanks to the cushy 650b Soma Cazadero's it absorbs the road chatter. It's great on single track and gravel too. It's pretty bombproof whether you're using it for a grocery run, commuting to work, pavement, gravel, dirt, etc. Really versatile.
Please let me know if you have any questions before buying. My local bike shop can pack it up which they said would cost approx $100. Maybe more since it's a big bike. Shipping would be UPS and I can let you know what they charge to your address.
Obvisouly it would be a heck of a lot easier to arrange a local pick up here in Chicago. I'm on the Northside.
