Schwinn Vintage 1977 Spitfire/Typhoon Custom Cruiser Brilliant

Schwinn Vintage 1977 Spitfire/Typhoon Custom Cruiser. Schwinn custom cruiser...let me start this way...the frame,fork, crank set, goose neck, seat post clamp, all bearings and assembly hardware are original to this bike. To complete the bike, I added the longhorn handlebars and chubby grips, aluminum seat post, leather seat and Wheel set to this bike. The wheels are Schwinn aluminum rims from a 2000s Schwinn mountain bike with quick release hub in front, and I've had a Shimano Nexus 3 speed coaster brake hub laced into the rear wheel and had the tech at the bike shop set up the rear wheel. This is the original factory Brilliant Red color with original decals and head badge.  I just scrubbed the heck out of it and left the patina finish.  Just preserved what is there. This is a 1977 Schwinn frame that was released from the factory with S2 rims...as I said I added these wheels to complete the bike. This bike is super easy to ride with this 3-speed hub and the simplicity of a coaster brake outback. These are 26-inch wheels. It has new inner tubes and very serviceable tires. This was a nice build that I was going to keep long term, but my aching old knees can't do this anymore. I had the bike serviced at the beginning of the summer but haven't been on it since. The perfect cruiser without breaking the bank and needs nothing to enjoy right now.
