Sturmey Archer 1978 AW 3 Speed Wheel Set 26", Parting out a Raleigh

In this sale you are buying ONLY the wheel set.. I am parting out the 1978 ladies Raleigh Sport made in England bicycle shown in my first picture... If you are interested in any other parts on the bike let me know and I can list listing for you to purchase. This set will come with the mounting nuts,shifting chain & plastic dust cap,front wheel silver reflector,2 Cat Eye hub shiners that are original to the bike and the 2 original tires and tubes. The Raleigh Record tires tires are original to the bike and are not road worthy and they are only good for display.. The rims are stamped Sturmey Archer,and the Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub has a date stamp that reads 8 78..The AW model number is also stamped on it....These are 36 spoke wheels that spin true and look great for vintage steel. They have a bright apperance but do have minor signs of normal wear and marks and micro patina and could some polishing..They are about as good as you can get for a 45 year old wheel set. . I don't think these wheels have ever been off of this bike. I have not serviced the wheels but I did test ride the bike and the wheels spun well,quiet and true and the bike shifted well...
