Sturmey Archer Sportshift CCM Mustang Marauder Muscle Bike 3-Speed

Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Sportshift Stick Shift. This shifter has the rare thin or low profile plastic cover which is very uncommon. Most Sportshifts of this style have about 15mm of plastic cover below the silver paint line that follows "Sportshift", whereas this model of cover only has about 5mm below the line. If you're familiar with the standard cover you'll know that the plastic mold typically looks like a 2 part form- the main body of the shifter and then the skirts on the side. This cover withholds the skirts in manufacture. If I remember correctly this shifter (with this specific cover) was original equipment on some CCM Mustang Marauder/Supercycle Wedge bikes, but I'll leave it up to you to determine if it's the correct one for your bike. The shift cover is in good used condition, with sticker fading and flaking on the chrome sticker (I believe these stickers are available aftermarket now)- please see photos. The shifter itself is in good mechanical condition and the chrome shift lever is also in good used condition. The 1-2-3 yellow gear indicator is missing. The shifter includes a NOS T-handle. The shifter does not include a top tube clamp, as it would be direct mounted to a Marauder frame. That said, this specific shifter appears to have been mounted to a single top tube bike at some point as it has some wear on the bottom in that location.
