Bike front end was run over by a truck while backing out, requiring the entire front to be replaced (forks, wheel/rim, handle bars, etc).
As a result, bike was deemed beyond economical repair and so the remaining good parts are up for sale.
The frame was not affected by the crash, measurements of the head tube angle was taken and compared to a new bike frame. The tolerance was within manufacturing spec.
Sale Does NOT include the bent forks to reduce shipping weight cost, just shows the extent of the damage. May consider shipping for an additional fee if it is needed.
Nothing else is included, bare naked frame only. It will be shipped unwrapped with just a shipping label tag attached. It may or may not endure more scratches along the way, but will be “nothing” compared to what is on the frame now after the accident. Please be aware of this. If the cosmetic condition is an issue, please do not buy. I can sell you a used frame with no cosmetic issues if you need.
Again, Frame has some heavy scratches, scrapes and rust. The frame is solid otherwise. Perfect for custom builders who will end up repainting the frame anyway.
