SCHWINN SUBURBAN  57cm or 22 inch Upright  Road Bike Reccomended heights for males 5-6 to 5-11 or females 1 inch shorter!! READY TO RIDE, verrry smoothly so.... This is a CHICAGO USA steel frame All original USA made steel body, I believe vast majority of this bicycle made in USA. Nothing worn, much life left Internals carefully inspected to be great. This is a GREAT model of Bicycle for casual riding, commuting to work. Great blend of moderate paced riding, and flat road efficiency. MODIFIED: I Replaced the Original Steel Rimmed wheels with a Lighter ALuminum Rimmed one! The new wheels are also REBUILT with grade 25 balls in 2015, They are originally from a 1984 Schwinn World Sport.(this reduced rolling weight almost 4 lbs!!) BOTTOM Bracket came originally with Caged Bearing Balls, what i did was replace with LOOSE Grade 25 balls. Increased the ball# by 3 or 4 per side And got rid of the drag of the cage!!! SO this SUBURBAN is about 4 pounds LIGHTER than its original weight, and also Faster because of exceptional adjustments and improved internals. Still have the original Steel rimmed wheels in fantastic mechanical condition( good or better than new) FREE Light Set and U Lock with full BIN Price. ALSO if you find this is too tall or too small, all you got to do is call!!! Have at least 8 more chicago made schwinn suburbans i could rebuild in all sizes!! Also similar bikes by Raleigh / other english makers. Allow 4 to 10 days to be rebuilt properly( 5 to 8 hour task in itself). Prefer to do it multiple days, and allow a couple days of testing and readjusting too after it is done.
