I purchased this stunning bike from the original owner’s estate 12 years ago along with a C40. While the C40 was the initial draw, I fell in love with the Titanio Decor not only for it's good looks, but because of how well it handles. Unfortunately, my wife and I are downsizing our home and I must sell both bikes, as well as others that I own. Top Tube measures 56cm, Seat Tube 57cm, Down Tubes 62cm, Head Tube 14cm, Frame Size 55cm, Standover height 32”. This amazing example of the Bititan titanium frame is a testament to the design and function of this classic Italian road bike. These welded frames were manufactured in the mid-1990s. The Decor paint scheme is stunning and is in remarkable condition, easily 9 out of 10 with minimal signs of aging. There are a few tiny spots where paint has chipped or worn in the usual places, mostly unnoticeable. Clear-coat sealer is very lightly scuffed on the seat tube and chain stays. The bike comes with the Colnago Precisa straight blade fork, Shimano 600 Group crank, headset, calipers and front derailleur; Ultegra Group rear derailleur, handbrakes and shifters, Dura Ace seat post, Selle Italia saddle, 3T stem and drop-bar. The bike rides on like-new Mavic CXP 30 clincher rims with lightly-used Serfas Seca 700x23 tires. New bottom bracket recently installed-Shimano XTR. Please note the tiny dingle-dangle hanging below the bottom of the seat: it's a medal of the Madonna del Ghisallo, the patroness of cyclists! Ghisallo is a village in the mountains of Italy renouned for it's cycling heritage. There's a terrific story on Wikipedia worth reading. I'm wondering whether the original owner bought it while cycling in Italy.
