Vintage 1-inch 1” Threaded Wide Lugged Crown 26 MTB Fork Short 146 Steerer Gray Here is a used 1980s-era 1-inch mountain bike chromoly steel lugged crown fork. Fits 26” wheels and has a very wide crown to accomodate big tires —measures 70mm just below the crown lug. Steerer tube is short at 146mm long—please measure your headtube and headset stack height to verify fit. Axle to crown measurement is 380mm. Has mid-leg pannier mounts and dual fender eyelets. Metallic gray paint is clean and in good condition, with some tire rub on inside fork legs and light paint chips. The top of the steerer tub shows light wear on one edge — I confirmed that a headset nut threads on easily. This is an older fork that was made before fork dropouts had safety tabs, so it is critical for safe use of the fork that the wheel skewer be tensioned properly.
