Vintage 1960's Porta Silk Cycle Folding Bicycle

you are buying this very rare Vintage 1960's Katakura Porta Silk Cycle Folding Bicycle 3 speed All Original Top Condition Bike. it looks complete see all the photos of every angle of the bike. even original seat and pedals in great shape. seat extends from 12" to 24" from the crank to the seat. this bike as you can see is in top condition. it not perfect, i would say its a 8 out of 10. you just don't find this bike in this shape. see all the chrome beautiful. see photos it sells it self. this is a very well made bike and rights great. and has some weight to it. i will ship and insure it or you can pick it up local.
see below a more details of the bike: Porta-Silk, Porta-Cycle Folding Bicycle with "Praying Mantis" type, transversely spring-loaded handlebars and front and Rear drum brake housing . This is a unique bicycle indeed. 20" x 1 3/4" balloon tires. Three-speed, SSS (Shimano), fulcrum-thrown, Japanese hub. Rear-only "TOKYO", triple-chrome,heavy steel, drum brake; Chromed steel front rim  there are front brakes .Made in Japan with obvious pride. Massive, cast & chromed wing nuts with substantial, tool box-type, folding latch, securing the breechblock mechanism for joining the bicycle sections. Note the two spring arbors with the conical, chromed covers pointing rearward, and mounted left and right of the steering tube's head badge. These allow the "praying mantis" type handlebars to spring-load to the outside of the bike in order to damp shock transmission originating from the front axle. SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS
