Vintage 1970 Hetchins 21" / 54cm Italia 531 Reynolds Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage English 1970's Hetchins Italia 21" x 21.5" English Road Tour Racer Bike Frame and Fork from the Tottenham, London Era. The Lugs also Denote model, although they can have different Geometry's. The Italia was Hetchins bike built for mass exports, although it has a simple lug design, it proved to be a classic. This one has fender & touring eyelets and an unique seat lug. It is made of Reynolds 531 Steel Tubing and has Campagnolo Dropouts. I think this was considered 21" x 21.5" that's 21" Crank Center to Seat Mast Top and 21.5" Center to Center Top Tube. Size Metric Approximates: Seat tube 53cm Center to Center or 54.5cm Center to Top. 55cm center to center Top Tube with a 114mm tall headtube. The Serial is H104XX with Matching Fork Serial and from my research I assume it's from 1970. The Frame has 120mm Rear Spacing for 5 speed freewheel hubs. Frame & Fork ++ is British / ISO Standard. Frame and Fork is Used, Original paint with fading & decal loss, some stickers were removed taking paint with them, Top Tube is very faded, It may have nicks, Scratches, Tiny Dents, and some slight Rust, Still a Classic Looking Vintage Frame. Plenty of Pictures to mull over. The Frame and Forks clearance is for 700c Wheels bike.
