Vintage 1984 27" Lotus Eclair Touring Bicycle

VINTAGE 1984 27" LOTUS ECLAIR TOURING BICYCLE. This is a one owner bicycle bought brand new by me in May/ June of 1984 from BRANDS CYCLERY IN WANTAUGH, NY.  My friends and I had planned a trip from western Suffolk county out to Montauk point and there was no way that I was going to make it with the put together bike that I had. I used this bike a lot for a few seasons and then it just sat in my garage until approx. 10 years ago when I took it out cleaned it up, tuned it and started riding it again. I had a large vintage bicycle collection over the past 20-25 years and now I'm starting to sell off my remaining bicycles and this is one of them. As I said, this bike has been well used and well taken care of. It does have some scratches and blemishes from use but nothing significant and everything works as it should. The bike is all original as I purchased it way back in 1984 except for the seat which had a few tears and started to become unglued from its base, the kick stand which being aluminum simply snapped one day and the derailleur which I replaced with the exact same Deore derailleur which I bought used but is in excellent condition. The foam handlebar grips are original but has tears in it but is mostly there and I didn't want to replace them.  iI has double bottle holders and a frame mounted air pump which still works as it should and which also came with the bike when I purchased it. I had front and rear panniers on it that I bought with the bike however, the rear panniers were damaged  with the nylon shredding and I do not remember what happened to the front panniers or why I removed them along with the front rack. I bought this bike when I was 19 years old and still living at home so they were left at my mothers house after I moved out and she has since sold the house. I'm really on the fence about selling it as I have sooooo many great memories with it and I still really enjoy riding it. This bike is such a pleasure to ride and rides absolutely beautifully.
