front clamp about 1" ..rear clamp 1/2" - 3/4"
Kit comes with two Bracket Clamps one attaches to the Seat tube or Down Tube in front
and second clamp on the chain stay in the rear. Extra hardware comes in case there are other
attachment points on your  frame .
