Vintage Motobecane Grand Touring Road Frame Set with VITUS 888 Tubing Up for sale is a nice 1980 Motobecane Grand Touring road frameset. Made in France with VITUS 888 Light Tubes Legers main tubes with forged dropouts with adjusters and eyelets. VITUS fork with forged crown and chromed tips. Frame features top tube cable guides, derailleur cable stops, and chain hanger.  Headset and bottom  bracket have been cleaned and greased – ready for years of service. Sale includes a nice micro-adjusting alloy seat post, binder bolt, and the original set of derailleur cable stop grommets. Cosmetically the original classic style paint and contrasting head tube and seat tube rings are quite striking. A pretty even coverage of scuff and scrapes from normal use, (too numerous to list individually but notably on the left top tube, down tube, and a dent in the left chain stay ), please see pictures. Overall I would rate the original paint and graphics about a 7 out of 10. Not bad considering the age, but if you are a stickler for flawless paint – maybe pass on this one.
