Here’s a nice vintage Schwinn Hornet Tank Bike that appears to be all original and in good condition for its age. Rides nice down the road, needs nothing, a real head turner.
Solid straight frame with no issues. Original paint & decals still look good, some expected signs of age with some paint chips/scuffs/fade but overall in nice original condition.
Original steel tank is in nice condition and the horn works. Some scuff/blemish on the chaingaurd but has visible decals. Front headlight works, some wear. Chrome is good, bearings feel good.
Original Schwinn Tubular S2 rims spin good, no major wobbling or issues, some surface rust, though would clean up pretty good. Tires appear original and hold air, some weathering on sidewalls, many miles left.
Overall a nice rare Hornet Tank Bike that rides nice for its age and looks cool. Pictures tell all, if not, please ask
