Here is an original vintage Sears BIKE SPEEDOMETER was removed from a 1960s JC Higgins bicycle. This is cool and fits most any bicycle. It would be appropriate for your vintage JC Higgins, Spaceliner, Flightliner, Sears 3-speed, 5-speed, Screamer, Spyder, etc. It will fit other brand bikes as well.
This includes the speedometer head, mount, speedometer cable, and drive. This came from a 26" bicycle. If you have a 20" bicycle you would want to change the drive if you want the speedo accurate. The speedo itself looks cool! It is in respectable condition for its age as you can see. It goes up to 40 MPH and the odometer shows 2739 miles! The cable is approx 27" long. A great item for display or to install. I like checkered flags in the middle!
PLEASE NOTE, This one is TESTED AND WORKS!!!! It wouldnt hurt to do a basic lubrication and oiling to it as the cable inner cable seems a little sticky. The head itself turns easily and needle moves when not connected.
