Stunning late 1980s Vitus 979 56cm, with rare working MAVIC Zap Electronic group set
Built-up with a Mavic ZAP groupset, the electric shift is in good working order! New battery (uses a standard 6v battery, readily available). The frameset was new-old-stock and the groupset lightly used. It's been built-up with mostly MAVIC components.
I always loved this era of bike and this frame in particular . I took this iconic frame and found as many MAVIC parts to match the group as possible. The bike rides and handles great. FRAME DETAILS
