WHEELSET ONLY from an Old John Deere Mixte Road Bike from 1970s/60s Comes from an unusual John Deere bike I am not 100% sure this was original to the JD bike, but am 90% confident, since it fit well, and was era correct. Blemishes and slight wear exist outside and inside. While this was dirty, it has minimal rust , and structure quite straight, and strong. Probably from late 1960s to early 1970s Rims strong and almost perfect straight!! NOt a super high end rim, but strong and not kinked nor dented of any significance. Definitely better made than avg replacement! And in My experience aqs a rebuilder of bieks from 1060s-90s, these dont get bent about as easily as some of the other steel rimmed ones you find on 70s schwinns , fujis, raleighs.etc, of the era. Hubs/Cones have regular gradual wear, but were adjusted not terribly and retain many miles of usage. cones have some blemishes and gradual wear, but no heavy pitting nor scars Adjustment /movement were good.
