Working 1920's 1930's EveReady Flashlight that measures 6 1/2 inches long so it may work on your Steering Column Flashlight Holder and the glass lens is in good shape with no cracks. The battery compartment is clean with a few small dings on the end cap plus a few on the other end. Use 2 D Cell Batteries which do not come with this auction. In 1924 Eveready introduced the "safety lock" switch. This wider and flatter switch, usually held on by 4 rivets, combined the button and slide in a sturdy, quality switch. This switch was used well into the 1930s when it was redesigned it with 3 rivets.
