Commuter Computer
San Diego vintage bicycle commuting poster, “You don’t have to know your way around a bike,” size 16” x
18 ½” in good condition with minor wear to edges; poster shows bike gears and teal-colored
lettering against a brown background; stored in
rolled condition. This comes from my personal Museum of Ridesharing, which I accumulated in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Back then, I worked for various government agencies to promote transportation alternatives like carpools, transit / buses, vanpools, bicycling, and telecommuting. The goal was to reduce air pollution. From 1984 - 1992, I was an Account Executive for Commuter Computer San Diego, a Ridesharing Coordinator for the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, and the Public Information Specialist--Transportation for the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District. In those days, posters like this were distributed to companies for their bulletin boards; this specimen was never posted, but instead it was stored away from light. I think this poster is rather unique; I don't think very many examples still exist. If you buy this, I will pack it carefully and ship it to you direct. Thanks for taking a moment to read my listing! And remember, please rideshare whenever you can!
