Vintage Araya 821 Aero Road Bike - Dura-Ace AX - 57.5cm - Used

The Araya 821 is a stunning example of Japanese craftsmanship in the 1980's. All of the Tange Aero shaped tubes catch the light beautifully. The light blue paint that it's finished in compliments the Dura-Ace 7300 AX groupset perfectly. This bike has a certain classiness but also exudes confidence and speed. It looks like it's going 100mph sitting still.
This bike is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace 7300 AX group that has been fully refurbished. It's a fast and well tuned in groupset. The frame is in good condition but shows sign of use. There are some marks on the crank side chain/seat stays towards the bottom. The decals show there age but no peeling or fading. There is also a small scuff in the paint on the top of the top tube. No dents, bends, or cracks anywhere in the frame.
The Araya Aero wheels show sign of use. There are some small inward and outward facing dents in both the front and rear wheel. This is why I'm including a set of Wolber/Shimano 105 7spd wheels so that one can display the bike with the stock Araya wheels laced to the AX hubs and then when it's time to go for a ride, they can swap the Wolbers on and enjoy the bike! The tires have not been glued on to the Araya rims.
